We warmly encourage any parent/carer who is looking at schools for their children to come and look round the school by contacting the School Office for an appointment.
For suggestions or comments that do not need a response or that you would rather remain anonymous, then there is a suggestion box in reception.
Westways has a strong sense of community and many parents/carers offer time to help with school visits, sports day, library and reading assistance etc. If you have time and would like to contribute please contact your child’s teacher. The school parent and teacher association is the Friends of Westways and more information can be found under the Parents section of the website. The Friends organise a number of events throughout the year and help is always welcome.
Any parent/carer who has any issues, suggestions or questions should raise these with their child’s teacher if at all possible by email. Your child’s teacher should be your first point of contact even for issues that may relate to breaktimes or outside school...
Questions, concerns and suggestions can also be directed to our Assistant Headteachers Mrs Hicks (Foundation Stage) Mrs Robson (KS1) Mr Bradley (Lower KS2) or Mr Hollamby (Upper KS 2). Please contact the school office to make an appointment if possible so we can make sure you receive the time and attention necessary.
If you do not feel that your concerns have been addressed by the staff or you would rather contact the school governors then their contact details can be found under the “Governors” section of the website.
