Admissions

Reception - Year 6

All admissions into school are processed through the Primary Admissions Team of Sheffield City Council – click here for more information. The school admits 90 children each year.

When allocated a place by the Primary Admissions Team, parents are invited to visit school with their child before they start school.

Nursery (for 3 & 4 year olds)

From September 2022 we will be offering 15 hours per week either the beginning of the week (all day Monday & Tuesday and Wednesday morning) or the end of the week (Wednesday afternoon, all day Thursday and Friday).

We have 5 places available for 30 hours.  If you qualify for Extended Funding Entitlement (EFE), we accept extended hours funding, subject to availability.  (If you are interested in applying for ‘Tax-free Childcare’ (EFE code), please visit this website https://www.gov.uk/get-tax-free-childcare and check whether you are eligible for claiming).

We also offer a paid 'top up' sessions (subject to availability), the cost is £4.50 per hour, and is payable monthly in advance.  Children are normally allocated a place in Nursery the term after their 3rd birthday.  Due to a high demand for places, these are allocated by children’s age and not the length of time on the waiting list.

 This would be at the beginning of the:

  • Autumn term (September) – children who are 3 years old from April to the end of August;
  • Spring term (January) – children who are 3 years old from September to the end of December;
  • Summer term (April) – children who are 3 years old from January to the end of March.
