Breakfast Club

We offer a breakfast club at Westways School for children in FS2 up to Year 6 from 7.30am every morning in the Mona Building where there are a range of activities offered and they have the opportunity to have breakfast.  The last drop off time will be 8.15am in order to give your child the time to have their breakfast before school.

A choice of breakfast (cereals and toast) provided by Taylor Shaw will be available and the cost for each daily session will be £5.50 per child per day.

Our Breakfast club is open for anyone who needs to drop off children early – in order to book Breakfast Club you are required to download the School Gateway app to use the system.

Westways After School Club (WASC)

Established in 1996, Westways After School Club (WASC) is based in the grounds of Westways Primary School and is a self-funded organisation that is independent of the school.

WASC provides a service to parents and carers of Westways school children, of school age, ages 4 to 11 years.  They offer reliable, high quality care to children attending our school Monday to Friday from 3:15pm until 6:00pm (during term time).   It is organised by a voluntary committee of parents who are responsible for all aspects of running the club.  WASC employs qualified play care workers who provide a wide range of activities.  Working closely with parents and carers, they provide a safe and happy environment for children after the end of the school day.

They are registered for a maximum of 77 children who are in full time education at Westways Primary School, and just like the school, they are regularly inspected by Ofsted.

Anyone interested in using WASC is welcome to arrange a visit by contacting Isobel Smith on 0114 2683923 or 07443 431083. Alternatively, click here to view their website.
