‘Here Comes Summer’ Singing Festival 07/07/15

On Tuesday morning, Y4, 5 & 6 members of the KS2 choir went down to Sheffield Cathedral, and took part in the ‘Here Comes Summer’ singing festival, alongside three other primary schools. They performed eight songs, which all (despite the less than summery weather on the day!) had a Summer theme, including ‘The Wasp Song’, ‘Summertime’, and ‘The Amazing Rock Pool Show’. Animals adopted from Wear It Wild day

Just to let you know that we have now adopted 10 animals with the World Wildlife Fund.  They are: snow leopard, Asian elephant, giant panda, black rhino, polar bear, Adelie penguin, mountain gorilla, hawksbill turtle, bottlenose dolphin and lion. Hopefully the adoption packs will arrive in a week or two! Thanks again for everyone’s support Helen Waterman (Y5 teacher)

Wear It Wild Update

We raised £347.44 on Wear It Wild day! A big thank for everyone’s support!  I will be asking the children to vote for the animals they would most like to sponsor and will let you know the result as soon as I can. Bikeability Week – 8th June

Reminder for children who have a place on the Bikeability cycle training next week. Remember to bring your bike, helmet and wear suitable clothing and footwear for the cycling sessions.
