Sports Relief

Well done everyone for completing the ‘step challenge’ during our daily mile. In Y3H alone we logged over 50,000 steps! Great to see everyone’s sporting outfits too.  


Finding the Perimeter

Today Y3H were applying their measuring and calculation skills to find the perimeter of different items in our school yard.  Well done everyone!

Year 3 Statistics

Over the past 2 days, Year 3 have finished our statistics topic by collecting and presenting some data of our own. There has been much enthusiasm and great collaboration as the children have worked in pairs to complete their surveys and then create a poster showing their results. Big Garden Birdwatch 2018

This weekend is the annual Big Garden Birdwatch, where people all around the country will spend one hour monitoring the wildlife in their gardens.  The results help provide RSPB with valuable insight to the British bird population. Y3 Fruit Salads

This week we have been learning about ‘scaling’ in maths, and today we had the chance to put this into practice by scaling up a fruit salad recipe. A great opportunity for some practical maths, and a healthy treat to boot!


Y3H Igloo!

Many thanks for all the milk bottle donations, Y3H have now completed our reading corner igloo!  The children were very excited to see the completed project this morning. Thank you Mrs. Jolley for your creative vision!
