Year 3 Newsletter – September 2017


This week year 3 have been exploring equivalent fractions. We started our investigation by identifying different fractions and building a fraction wall in our class.

Stone Age soup

This week in Year 3 we have been making food fit for a Stone Age dinner!  During the late Stone Age people started to settle in small villages and farm animals and crops. We wanted to cook using ingredients that would have been available during this time, and so we decided to make vegetable soup. Creswell Crags

On Monday Y3 had a fantastic trip to Creswell Crags, which is a limestone gorge where many Stone Age artefacts have been discovered.
