Communication meeting On Tuesday 20th March 2018 at 7.00pm, the governors will be holding a meeting to discuss improving communication at Westways. The meeting will be held downstairs in Western building (KS2). Please do come and talk with us about your views on communication and ideas for improvements.

On Friday 30th June Mrs Holmes took 4 children from Y6 to Harrogate. They attended the Yorkshire Primary PE and School Sport Premium Award ceremony. Westways won an award in recognition of how the Primary PE and Sport Premium funding has been used in school to increase children’s involvement in PE and sport.
The Y5/6 girls have completed the treble – winners of the Y5/6 league, Championships and the relay. Well done girls!
Well done to the children from Y4,5 and 6 who represented both Westways and Sheffield in the South Yorkshire School Games Cross Country Finals. Our Y5/6 boys team finished 4th, Y4 Girls were 2nd and our Y5/6 girls were the event winners. See more photographs in our Gallery.
